Unfortunately it can be really hard to locate quality free fonts amidst the thousands of mediocre ones. Luckily we've compiled a comprehensive list of professional free fonts to enhance your designs. 1. Indeed a great roundup. Can these all be used freely with @font-face? i know some of them we can, but the other cool ones, I don’t see at Font Squirrel or the likes.

  2. Filmotype Horizon is beautiful, just what I was lookin for. But … it’s not free! It costs 29$. Anyway, thank you for the inspiring collection.

  3. Good list but Colaborate is awful. I tried to use it on a site recently and the lowercase ‘t’ just makes me so angry. I know that’s a pretty irrational statement to make regarding a font but it does.

The League of Moveable Type has some great font.

  5. Appreciate the comments, everyone. As for those saying the fonts aren’t free, all of the fonts have free versions available through the links Tom provided, with the exception of the FilmoType Horizon font and Tom was sure it was free when the post was submitted (it seems to have been reduced to just one paid version of the font for some reason).

    So sorry about the confusion.
